I am looking on behalf of my client, one of the top integrator and consulting companies in the IT industry, for an experienced and motivated Datacenter Consultant
- The company has a large number of projects in: data centers and virtualization, IT&C infrastructures, unified communications, customer support centers, IT&C security.
- It has a team of more than 100 employees in Romania.
- Design data center network, server virtualization systems and data storage;
- Build customer deliverable documentation including High Level Design (HLD), Low Level Design (LLD), and Acceptance Test Plan (ATP);
- Conduct configuration and testing of systems and further transfer to the production network;
- Research and identify any malfunction of data networks, virtual servers and data storage systems;
- Tracking the issues being solved by using incident management software;
- Participate in on-call rotation schedule;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Telecommunication Engineering;
- Advanced knowledge of datacenter networking (Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, Vmware NSX-T);
- Experience with administration of servers in a virtual environment, data storage equipment and backup apps (NetApp, EMC, Veeam);
- Advanced knowledge of architecture and implementation of Cisco UCS B-series si C-series servers;
- Hands-on experience with Cisco server management platforms (UCS Manager/ Intersight);
- Advanced knowledge of managing virtualization platforms VMware, vSphere, vCenter (Hyper-V is not mandatory, however, represents a plus);
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VXLAN, and dynamic routing protocols
- Cisco certifications like CCNP DC, CCIE DC represent an advantage but they are not mandatory);
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems;
- Work independently or on a team depending on project requirements;
- Result oriented;
- English advanced level;
